We have the option to buy our building

The building that has been our home for six years is going up for sale at the end of this year. The owners are relocating to Israel, and they've offered to sell to us before listing it publicly. This is the place where those families find food, where our volunteers show up week after week, where something that began as a small act of kindness has grown into a real lifeline for our community.

We want to say yes – but we need to move quickly.

This building is in the right neighborhood, at the right cost, with a Kosher kitchen, food storage, office space, and room for our new delivery truck. Finding a comparable space would be very difficult, and a move would mean higher costs and real disruption to the people who depend on us most.

We estimate the need to raise $600,000 to purchase the building and $400,000 for a small endowment for future improvements – a total of $1 million. We are still in early negotiations, but if we cannot identify the funding, the building goes on the market in December.
